We arrived tired but were immediately uplifted once we opened the front door! The villa was spacious, luxurious, and had everything that we could possibly want. The master bedroom and en suite bathroom were fabulous. When we weren't enjoying the pool, we watched some tv and played the wii with games provided. A car is needed - however the drives are short (10-15min) to Disney World and attraction parcs alike. We ventured to Kennedy Space Centre, an easy 80 minute drive, and to the beaches on the west coast, Clearwater particularly was beautiful - the drive took 90 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to return!

Wonderful stay at Villa van der Laan

From the moment this holiday was booked, the owners Bram and Sylvia had everything under control. All contact was useful and they ensured we had all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived at Villa van der Laan, it was very clean and had absolutely everything that we could need for our stay (air conditioning, kitchen utensils, laundry facilities etc). The beautiful pool was the icing on the cake - my two small children loved it. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable, with plenty linen and towels for changing. The location of the villa (Sandy Ridge) is ideal - a short drive to Disney sites (15 - 20 mins), with lots of eating and shopping options a short drive away. There is also a small kids play park 100 m or so away from the villa with plenty to keep younger children occupied (swings, slides etc).
The security deposit which was paid upon booking was returned promptly on return home without me even asking about it!
All in all, a wonderful base for a Disney holiday. Bram, Sylvia and the management company were good to deal with. Highly recommended! I am sure we will be back!

Bright and clean

We stayed for 8 nights in June. We were 7 total, me & my husband, our daughter & son-in-law, & 3 grandsons aged 6,3 &1. We had plenty of space. Everything was clean & neat when we arrived. Grocery was only 1 1/2 miles away. Disney parks were about a 15 minute drive. Enjoyed our stay. Only minor complaint was temperature upstairs was a little warm. Solution for the future would be double pane windows instead of single upstairs. Temps outside were in the 90's so I am sure that was a factor too. Thanks for letting us use your house. We really enjoyed it & would stay again.

Many thanks for a wonderful home to vacation in! I flew home with the baby this afternoon and the rest of my family is driving home. Hopefully, they will be here tomorrow. It was much nicer than expected and very spacious. The location was very nice, we all had plenty of room, my son loved playing the Wii and the neighborhood seemed lovely. I think that's about all.

The place was very nice. It is clean and well furnished for a family stay while in FL. Plenty of space for nice family stay. The owners were very responsive.The reservation and the handling of the booking was straight forward and easy. The place is very close to everything including the beaches which are about an hour away. The theme parks are very close. The Kennedy Space Center is not that far either for a day trip. The pool gave us another option to keep the kids entertained. The place is clean and well maintained. The management company was super responsive to a single request that we made. We stayed for two weeks at the place and we missed it when we checked out since we booked another hotel for 3 night in Sarasota before we headed home back to WA. The hotel room was no match to the house. I wish we could have stayed more in the house but others had booked it before our stay. I would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the area especially with kids. We would stay in the place again if we visit FL anytime in the future.

great place for stay!

We are so happy that we choose this house! The hose is big, comfort and well equipped!! We had there all we need. The neighborhood is quiet and elegant. The hose stand closed to the lake that brings us surprise visitors every morning like birds and ducks!! The kids loved it so much. There is pubix very close and the roads to the main attraction are nearby and get you there in less than 20 minutes. The owners of the property are very nice and polite and all the effort to give you all the answer you need and all the details that require. We will more than happy to come back there in our next vacation.

Very enjoyable, quiet, want to stay there again!

My family and I want to thank you for a very enjoyable experience to coming to Disney World. We have been before but we took our 2 daughters (5 1/2 and 1 1/2). We were also celebrating our 10 year anniv.! Our girls LOVED the pool! Our dog loved chasing them on the deck while they where swimming. The house was very clean and had all of the utensils we needed! It was nice to do laundry during the week, so I didn't have much to come back too! The neighborhood was quiet. We are talking about coming back next year with my brother n law and sister and law and their little one! Also, the pool toys were GREAT! The girls loved them....just what we needed. The house is close to grocery store, restaurants and close enough to Disney... but no crowds...what a plus! Thank you again Bram and Sylvia. What a great pleasure to work with you and hope to see you again!

Very pleased,villa was just as described. We had two families staying there, total of 4 adults and 6 children plenty of room for everyone!! It was very clean and well maintained. We were so close to the Disney Parks, it takes no time at all to drive there. The pool was great the kids really enjoyed them. Have stayed in other villas before and this was our favorite, we will be returning:) Five Stars all around, if your looking for a clean, relaxing,roomy place with all of the amenities of home this is the place for you!!

What a great place to return to

What a great place to return to after a long day at Disney! It was much more relaxing than a hotel room or condo. The house is set up so well, plenty of room. We averaged 15-20 minutes from the parking lot of any given Disney park to the house. We really appreciated the quiet after spending the day around thousands of people. Having the pool out the back door was great. We didn't have to pack a bag to walk down to a pool. Our kids were able to enjoy the pool each day. The house is close to a nice Publix grocery store and there are restaurants near the highway exit. Very nice area. Thank you, so much, for the opportunity to rent your villa and experience a perfect Disney vacation!

Grandchildren's Disney experience was a success

Our grandchildren's first Disney World experience was a success due to this beautiful home we stayed in. Every need was anticipated and provided for. We looked forward to the wonderful pool every evening when we returned and sometimes the grandsons were begging to go home from the park to swim! We grilled one night and cooked dinner in the kitchen a couple evenings. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean! I encourage others looking for a comfortable, clean, home away from home to check into Bram ans Sylvia's property. From the begining of the process to the end the process was was a breeze. Thanks to Bram and Sylvia this vacation will be repeated and we will be staying again!

It was wonderful in this peaceful neighborhood

It was better than the pics in the ad tell you

We just stayed in your Villa for two weeks and we must say it was absolutely fabulous. Let us tell you it was even better than the pictures in the ad will tell you. The pool was also a joy to have. The kids just loved it, especially after the long days we had in the parks, shopping and everything else we did. Also the wheather was just perfect this time of year, sunny every single day (average of 90°). Everybody having their own room also was a pleasure to have. Having friends come over at the same time did not cause any problems either and was also no problem by Bram and Sylvia (we did inform them in advance).

Fantastic villa - very spacious had everything we needed and more! Heated pool was great for winding down after parks. Villa was well furnished and equipped and well-maintained. Owners were extremely helpful prior to visit, were happy to answer all questions and provide advice. Location of villa was excellent. Very easy to get to all parks, major routes and numerous shops/restaurants. Highly recommended, was even better than we imagined from the description and photos.

Fabulous holiday!!

This was our second time staying in this area so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The Villa is very roomy with a nice layout and is exceptionally clean. It is a lovley place to return to after a busy day at the theme parks situated in a quiet area, but very close to several supermarkets and restaurants. The owners were very easy to deal with and provided good information prior to our trip so that everything went smoothly. The pool is of a good size and is well maintained. The games table provides a welcome relief and is a wonderful bonus when you have children. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends.

This property was as advertised. It had everything that our family wanted from a villa and more. It is in a very pleasant location, but very close to all the Orlando theme parks, retail outlets etc. The supermarket,'gas stations' and bank are very close by. This was our third visit to Orlando,and it was far better than staying in hotels which we have done in the past. It was sheer bliss to get into the pool after a day plodding around the parks. I can thoroughly recommend Villa Vanderlaan for a great holiday.

This property was as advertised. It had everything that our family wanted from a villa and more. It is in a very pleasant A beautiful villa in a quiet location yet centrally located for all our needs - access to theme parks, shopping, sightseeing etc, so we had the best of both worlds. The property was very clean and well maintained and has every amenitie imaginable. The pool and games table went down a treat and the fact that the property was not overlooked is a bonus. It was very good value and the assistance and information provided by the owners was excellent. I would recommend this property as it ticks all the boxes and would certainly hope to return at some stage.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. The house was immaculately clean and the very comfortable. The pool was well cared for and after a long day at the parks a wonderful way to relax. The house is exactly as described with lots of room and a layout that provides for privacy as well. The house is located about 3 miles to I-4 which made it easy to travel to parks, shopping outlets and restaurants. No one could be nicer or easier to communicate with than Sylvia. She made the details of our trip easy and was very accomodating. If you are looking for great value and a wonderful vacation home contact Sylvia and Bram - you will not be disappointed!!

Fabulous 2 weeks of playing golf in Florida.

I have recently returned from a fabulous 2 weeks of playing golf in Florida.
The villa is ideally situated for gaining access to all the attractions and many of the superb golf courses; the availability and use of the broadband internet enabled us to take advantage of some really good deals when making golf bookings. The villa has excellent facilities and is really well decorated and maintained, the pool was most welcomed after a hard day out playing golf. The additional entertainment (wii - gametable) is a real bonus for families with young children (and older adults too). The owners, are very conscientious in ensuring that everything is of a high standard and provide excellent customer service. This villa is in a quiet location, has four bedrooms (2 en suite) 2 double bed, 2 x 2 single beds. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family or friends. As well as playing many excellent golf courses at very reasonable prices, we saw Cirques de Soliel (Must See Show) and ate at many excellent restaurants.

What a wonderful house! Everything about this villa was great, from the location (conveniently close to all amusement parks, supermarket and more) to the layout, which made us feel comfortable and at home immediately. Everything looked clean and taken care of, and all the basics are provided, such as a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and all the dinnerware and glasses you could think to need. Of course, swimming in the heatd pool was a must! But the kids also really appreciated the extra indoor games, WII and Game Table, that are included. There was plenty to keep them busy. The only downside about staying was that we eventually had to leave, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit the Orlando area.

After a terrific flight down to MCO we walked into an even better Villa. The Villa was just as described on the website. And everything looked like on the pictures. Everything was there one would need. The pool was also as expected, coming home after a wonderful day at the nearby attractions it was perfect to dive right into. Gelegen in een mooie buurt, Een mooie Villa. Compleet met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een geweldige vakantie.
Top: Nederlandse Eigenaren.
Tip: Geen sleutelkastje zoals aangegeven, maar een code op de deur waardoor wij verkeerd waren voorgelicht.
Top: Grote slaapkamers, opgedekt bij aankomst met met voldoende handdoeken alles.
Tip: Het was er schoon, al kruipt er soms nog wel eens een kakkerlak rond.
Top: Ventilatoren en Airco aanwezig
Tip: Temperatuur enkel in overleg aanpasbaar, en sommige ventilatoren aan het plafon maakte lawaai.
Top: Uit de drukte van de attractieparken.
Tip: Voor de pretparken; 15 minuten naar Walt Disney World, 30 minuten naar de Universal parken. (huur)Auto vereist.
Top: Tv beneden en Tv aanwezig in enkele slaapkamers boven en Wifi werkte prima!
Tip: Geen smart TV; Chromecast/Apple TV apparaat nodig voor bijvoorbeeld YouTube te kunnen kijken.
Het was gewoon een erg leuke en mooie bestemming!

Excellent in any way

We stayed in this villa from August through September 2013 with two adults. This was our second visit to Orlando. During our last visit, we stayed in a hotel room. This is fine if you are visiting all the parks and other attractions. But this time we did not have a busy schedule, and really could use the additional space and the comfort of having a fully stocked house. And I must say: this house was perfect!
For just two people, there is lots of room. But I can image us staying with a lot more people without any problems.
We selected the house because of it's design. A lot of the houses are just not our style, but this house feels like a home away from home. The swimming pool was excellent. We used it every day. The garage holds some swimming beds and other pool accessories.
There is a Publix Supermarket just a few minutes down the road. That's also the direction to the I4 that takes you to Tampa or Orlando. This is perfect if you want to pick up some groceries after visiting the parks. Disney is just 15 minutes away. Seaworld and Universal are about 25 minutes away, depending on traffic.
We really liked how quiet the neighborhood is. After a full day of walking or enjoying a water park, you return to a quiet oasis. We got a good night rest, every night. The beds are very good and the mattresses are comfortable.
Contact with the renters was always prompt. Some people might still be uncomfortable with renting a house over the internet. But I really like the direct contact to the owners and the possibility to ask question before arriving at the house.
Would I recommend this house to friends? I already did! Would we book the house again in the future? We most definitely will!

Top Haus in Top Lage

Top Haus in einer Sehr guten lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Central Orlando. Wir haben ein gutes Haus vorgefunden in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aussreichend in einem kleinen Radius vorhanden und auch die Restaurants sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut in desem Haus Gast zu sein und werden es bei unseren nächsten aufenthalten in Orlando gerne wieder nutzen.

Super lokation / excellent location

Für uns 4 (2 Kinder im alter von 3 und 5) war das Haus eine Super Lokation zur Erkundung von Orlando und den Parks. Schön und sicher gelegen (etwas außerhalb von Orlando, aber mit dem Auto innerhalb von 20 min. bei allen Parks), sauber, schöner Pool und modern und kindgerecht eingerichtet (man muss nicht dauernd aufpassen, das was runter fallen könnte :-), und Spielsachen gibt es auch) und sehr hell.
Würden wir jederzeit wieder für einen Aufenthalt wählen. Und platz für Oma und Opa wäre auch noch gewesen.

For us (Family with 2 Kids of Age 3 and 5) excellent location for our Orlando vacation. All Parks could be reached by Car within 20 minutes. Secure area, very clean, nice pool and a Kids fitting Inventory (you dont have to watch all the Time nothing get broken :-)). Enough Space for Grandma und Granddad as well.
We would Choose it again if we go a Second time.

Super Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und vor allem sauber. Vom Bügeleisen bis zur Wii Konsole ist alles vorhanden. Die Freizeitparks sind mit dem Auto alle schnell zu erreichen (Disney 20 Minuten, Universal 30 Minuten). Wenn man außer Haus essen möchte ist alles schnell zu erreichen, genau so wie Supermärkte oder Tankstellen. Der Ort in dem sich das Ferienhaus befindet hat sogar einen eigenen Sicherheitsdienst der immer da ist. Die Umgebung wird von Gärtnern täglich gepflegt. Wenn man hier Urlaub macht, muss ein Mietwagen vorhanden sein weil hier weder Busse noch Züge fahren. Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Vielen herzlichen Dank, dass wir in Ihrem wunderschönen Haus unsere Sommerferien verbrachen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, denn das Haus ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet worden. Fast jeden Tag benutzten wir den grosszügigen Pool um uns von den anstrengenden Ausflügen in die verschiedenen Vergnügungspark zu erholen. Das Haus ist wirklich empfehlenswert!
