Day 145 – December 15

Today we had an appointment with doctor Barot, he is my hematologist. He told me that everything was just fine. My blood is just fine there is nothing to be concerned about, I’m happy!

Since his office is close to home we went home after we were done. Normally we do not go home on a schoolday but since we will have company as per Wednesday this was perfect timing. This enabled me to do some little things at home I normally do not have time for.

So we drove home and received a printed version of my file for my doctors in Holland.

There was some mail that we received, some Christmas cards, France, Holland and Germany is were they are sent from.

Day 120 – November 20

We again waited at school until most parents had taken off after dropping off their kids. We always hang around a little longer, just watching everybody run around and check out the news on our phones.

We also always look around and see whats going on. See these squirrels, they are here in bunches, like everywhere in the USA, but are hard to see back home in Holland. They are so cute and adorable.

After everybody had left school property we took off to Starbucks. We had a wonderful tortilla with spinach and feta.

On the wrapping paper you can read I’m called Sofia, I do not know why, maybe I pronounce my name a little different. Every time I say my name, they write it as Sophia. And Bram is spelled Bryan most of the time, so from now on it is just Bryan and Sofia McLane.

Bram took his time and read the paper with some cappuccino, always a good time at Starbucks.

Later that day I had an appointment with Dr. Barot, just to check up. Everything was just fine. Got another B-12 shot and they took another blood sample. We need to return one more time before going home. I’m feeling great, I’m so happy!
