Day 56 – September 17

We took it slow today. First we walked around Blanchard Park.
We have visited the park before but this time we started on the other side.

On this side a bridge takes you over the water to the other side.
There was a little breeze as well, superb!

Since it was Wednesday we had dinner at church again, it was lasagna this time.

After dinner Camy participated in a worship with other girls all her age.
Just having a little chat of what the Bible is all about, but first it was time to sing. It was a “heavy” worship so this was once but not twice for us.
Can not say a bad thing of anybody but talking about God, Jesus and Bible is a little too much for us. But again not a single bad word about anyone, we are glad we attended the worship and have seen it from behind the scene.

Day 55 – September 16

Today we went to downtown Orlando an area we normally do not visit when on holiday. But since we drive by every single day these days we figured we better spend some time there and it certainly was no waste of time.

When at Publix we bought some fresh fruit.

When we sat down and ate the fruit we noticed that people were starring at the lake and it seemed interesting. So we took a look ourselves and saw all these turtles.

Awesome weather, awesome park, just another awesome day!

Day 49 – September 10

We started the day by walking through the park. This is where I noticed all these heart shaped leaves, it reminded me of what we know as ivy, light green colored, just beautiful!

Afterwards we went to Target, where we first stopped for a Starbucks, to do some groceries.

Oh, by the way, that is where I bought all this party stuff, for a birthday party.

And we of course had to buy something we were unfamiliar with, watermelon Oreo cookies, mmmmm!

Oh wait a minute, can we also buy some candy or M&M’s?
Oh sure you can, different flavors like, white chocolate, candy corn and pumpkin.

For lunch we stopped at Chick-Fil-A.

When school was out we exchanged cars because it was time for service, so we returned the one we drove in since being in Florida. It was recommended by Alamo to pick up another in stead of keep driving it, so we did. And guess what we got a brand new car, only 22 miles on it. And it was our lucky day as well since we received a free upgrade, so we now drive a brand new full-size SUV.

Carole invited us to have dinner at church, so we did. Once a week, on Wednesday, you can have dinner for $ 4.00 to sponsor the church. Today we had chicken, broccoli, rice and jelly. Day 35 – August 27

On the way to school we saw those 3 air balloons up in the air.
One went right over our heads on the Interstate.

While at school we found ourselves a seat again en went through our mail and all that, enjoying the sun at the same time.

We had our Mc Donalds salad for lunch at the park, what a wonderful place. No noise, all quiet, just some birds whistling.

When we came home Camy checked the mailbox, unfortunately no mail today. But we do have some mail so we leave that in the mailbox in stead because that’s how we do it here in The US of A. Just put your mail in the mailbox, put the red flag up so they can see mail is to be taken out of the box. Just perfect!

We had an appointment with a pool repair company because we thought we had a leak. Water does evaporate we know but it is just a little too much in our opinion. So the guy takes out his wet suit, gets into the pool and tries to find the problem, he of course knows what and where to look for. So he checks the lights, the drain and the skimmer first with some blue dye tester and within minutes finds the problem. We’ve got a pool leak and as quickly he found it he repaired it as well. He just sealed the leak with a two-part epoxy adhesives.

Once all done and having our dinner it was time for my DIY project. Lets see wether or not a necklace can be made.

Day 30 – August 22

Today is Friday, the day we worship with all of St. Lukes students at the Chapel. They use large screens so everybody is able to read all the lyrics and sing along. Also do they use it for the speeches given and prayers, high-tec church and up to date.

After church we made one more stop at Home Depot, just to have one more look at what kind of flooring we really want.
Is it that hard to make your choice 🙂

Outside near the exit there is a hot dog booth which smells real good and since it is almost lunch time we decide to order a hot dog each.

And when there is some time left …. it is time to relax.
You take a salad, a good book and find the right spot in the park for a couple of hours.

Surrounded by the white Ibis, a curious bird who is not afraid and comes by real close, see whether or not there is some food left.

Last night it rained cats and dogs with a lots of wind even taking parts of the cage out. Since we always leave the house early we only saw what happened when we came home again. With this happening we have got another project to take care of, getting the cage repaired. Now that one part has disappeared, leaving a big gap for all insects, bugs, lizard to “enter” the pool, we need to get this fixed because we are not looking for these kind of visitors.

Day 27 – August 19

Today, we decided not to go shopping but spend the day doing something else. So we looked for a park, not too far from school and that is where we walked a couple of miles.

Nature is beautiful around here and you will see the most gorgeous flowers, trees, birds here.

Oh, and ourselves, haha.

And flowers within the butterfly garden.
We, unfortunately, did not see too many butterflies, they were way too busy. The ones we did see however, were pretty large about 4 inches each.
