The day started so good, first we had to get some gas, with a free cup of coffee and tea and we discussed what to do today. Bram suggested to go to Winterpark and visit Goodwill, since we had never been there before, this one was still on our to-do list.

I wandered around the store but while trying on a pair of shoes I did not feel to well. Luckily for me I already sat in a chair and had support. I really did not feel well so we asked someone to call 911.

It was hard to tell Bram since I lost my speech, my left side stopped functioning for about 10 seconds. After that I was back to normal but it is scary to have it happen to you. You just want to say something only to find out it just does not make any sense. All in all we stayed calm but we knew something was not right. At the same time the ambulance arrived and the doctors took it from there. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and Bram took our car to follow. At 11.15AM we were headed for the hospital in Orlando.

Once we arrived in the hospital I had to undergo a couple of tests.
They took X-rays, CT-scan, heart film and heart scan and an one hour MRI later that evening.
Bram and Camy went home while I tried to get some sleep, with 7 others because I did not have my own room yet.
Pfff, scary scary, but I’m at the right place, at least it feels that way, no one wants to be hospitalized but I realize it is the best place to be. We will see what happens the next couple of days.
Thank you for reading our blog and sorry to inform you about what happened to me. It if was up to me I would have told you something totally different but unfortunately this is part of life as well.
