Every step forward is a good one and to speed things up a little we decided to leave the house and have Camy’s ears checked out. Her ear started to smell real bad again. I did not want to wait until things got even worse, we all know that happens in the middle of the night, the pain etc. We wanted to prevent this from happening and since I am home again, we decided to go to the hospital. Twice we went to the walk-in center but that as of yet has not helped us. So off to Heart of Florida, the hospital located on highway 27. You can just walk in when you feel like, you do not need to be sent by another doctor. We were helped within an hour and got some antibiotics and some allergy relief. All should be back to normal within 7 days. Oke, lets start, lets head home!
Unfortunately we were stopped when walking out heading home, we needed to pay the invoice first.
Uhm, $1300.00 please for this one-hour consultancy. How much? $1300.00! Here we go again, making a call to Unive, they are available 24h per day, explain the situation and take things from there. Still an hour later we were finally able to head home. Unite will take care of it and make payments to the Heart of Florida.
We made a stop at CVS to pick up the medicine and we’ll go home afterwards.
All in all we were gone for 4 hours, pretty good I have to say, proud f myself but scary at the same time. And it was tiring too, so it was good to be home again. Still I am relieved we took care of this, I think it all took too long and hope Camy’s ears will be all right again soon, so she too can go back into the pool.
