Day 155 – December 25

Merry Christmas!

We set the table and put the Christmas tree on it as well, something different. It still feels strange to be in Florida while it is Christmas. To us when you talk about Christmas you think about cold, snowy days, well none of that here. Now, lets unwrap our presents first.

Christmas Day

It was a little cooler today than previous days, yesterday it was pressing today there was a little breeze. But because of that the water felt much better. With our crochet hats, made by Carole, we had lots of fun. And that feeling, being in a pool on Christmas day, awesome!

At 12.30 we drove towards Jack and Carole, we were invited to celebrate Christmas Day here.

We were welcomed with some presents, Camy got a cover, two bracelets and nail polish. The girls had a candle and a bracelet. The gents received home pants and socks. Really sweet and a big thank you to Santa Claus.

Carole had the two tables set up in the living with the old silverware.

The biggest surprise was that Kathy and her two kids, Sean and Tara, were down here, they drove all the way down from New York. It was good to see her and the kids, it was about five years we had last seen one another.

We had a great time and chatted and chatted until about 7.30PM when we headed back home.
Great unforgettable Christmas Day!

Day 127 – November 27

Today is Thanksgiving and we have been invited by Jack and Carole. Since we borrowed a drill from Carole last week we drilled some holes before we left. Now we can hang the new curtains and take the drill back to Carole.

At 11.30AM we headed towards Jack and Carole to celebrate Thanksgiving, we said we would be there at about noon. Carole had already started dinner and she had the table set as well.

We also enjoyed the sun today, the weather was real good to sit out.

day127-07

At the end of the afternoon we got into our DIY and in one of the sheds of Carole we let it all out. We took the electric saw and we made some letters out of wood.

Day 32 – August 24

Today we started with this wonderful breakfast.
It is a dozen donuts, but there will be enough for lunch as well.

Day32-01

We jumped into the pool afterwards, read a little and hang out to enjoy the sun.

Later in the afternoon we drove to Jack and Carole, our American parents 🙂 We have known them for over 25 years, from when Bram first attended Gateway High and kept in touch ever since. They live in Kissimmee and we are always more than welcome to visit or what ever. Since they have a pool as well we brought our bathing suits along, you never know.

Day32-02

Carole took us out for dinner at Logan’s. They serve their drinks in mason jars, isn’t that cool! Since all shops are open on sundays as well we could not resist but visit a couple.
