Day 144 – December 14

Yesterday we talked with our next door neighbor, they are from England and rent out their Villa as well, just like us and many more in the area. Now they have a two week holiday and are here to enjoy their Villa and they happen to play golf as well. So the next thing we know, we are discussing Tee times. The weather is getting better again so being outside is just perfect.

England

So with our neighbor we headed towards Providence, a public golfclub, about 10 minutes from the Villa.

A beautiful course, hole 1 through 9 are within the neighborhood and holes 10 through 18 are a little more into “the middle of nowhere”.

While playing, we had our own golf cart, we looked for pine cones for Christmas!

We had two carts, own for the players, Bram and Brian, and one for the ladies, Sylvia and Camy. Camy enjoyed it as much as all of us, she was the driver of our cart, awesome! Makes her practice for driving lessons, only 2 more years before she can get her restricted license here and drive a real car.

While Bram was playing Camy still had some work to do, she still had to finish one more book prior to school break.

This is Bram in action.

On the course we also saw some turkeys, we have never seen them like this, just walking around.

And besides the turkey how about this gator that took a nap.
When you look right you can see the ball right with his right paw. Are you going to hit it?

For dinner we went out with Frank and Margret at Bahama Breeze, just wonderful. Thank you for an awesome night, we had good fun.

When we got home I finished up on Camy’s “good bye sweets”. Some sweets and a thank you card.

Day 36 – August 28

We received a card, it was a little note from my sister and she put a nice pink bracelet with it. Thanks my dear!

Day36-01

It is always nice to receive some card and letters, not necessarily a present, so again when you want to mail us, it is appreciated.

Today we went looking for a patio umbrella, we need a new one for the pool deck. And since we have all time of the world we were playing around a bit in this mega store.

Day36-02 Day36-03

We had lunch at Taco Bell today, one of our more favorite restaurants, to have a tortilla, delicious!

This is the end result of my DIY, which I started the other day.

Day36-04 Day36-05

At 03.30PM it was about time to pick Camy up from school. Time for a selfie first and after that, sit and wait until the school bell rings.

Day36-06

Here she is with her classmate Izzy, who is from England and came over two years prior.

Day36-07

With a backpack, way too heavy, we strolled back to the car where Camy shows you our St Lukes logo which we put on the trunk of the car.

Day36-08

We had to stop by at the walk-in medical center, Camy had to take one more test which needs to be put in her file at school. Now we are entirely complete.

Day36-09

After taking care of all the homework we had a little time to have fun in the pool before going to bed.
