Day 108 – November 8

It is weekend again! We slept a little long first of all and we did some things on our to do list, in and around the house.

Bram started painting the last part of the pool deck. Camy also wanted to sit outside but since it was a little cold she got a blanket to put around herself.

With the last paint Bram also started painting the drive way, this needs to be freshened up as well.

Here you can see our security car, 24h per day, 7 days a week.

At the end of the day we headed for the outlet Mall, see wether or not there was anything left for us. But first we stopped at Carrabba’s, an Italian Grill restaurant.

This is what we had for dinner.

At Tommy Hilfiger Camy and I both bought a bus sweater and Camy also bought some adidas sneakers. Not too much but oh so happy!

Day 102 – November 2

One of the items we still have on our to do list before we go back to Holland is painting the pool deck.

First we have to clean the deck so we will vacuum clean it first.

We bought a fresh white color paint, ice white is the name. Oh that really looks good, hope it stays like this…

This is the pool deck as a sand color.

This is what it will look like when all has been painted.

Since we have to still be able to walk the deck we can not paint it all, so we will finish it up next week. Almost done, almost there!

Day 74 – October 5

It is Sunday today, what will we have for breakfast?
I know, we will make some pancakes ourselves, why not give it a try?!

And after 15 minutes, the waffle mix was gone and we had all those pancakes in return 🙂

After we had breakfast we still had some items that needed some paint.
These were the items I bought at the yard sale yesterday and painted them.

Camy started a project of her own, it is to put all the cards that we receive together. She had to paint this 3×2 white first and after that she will clue the cloth picks on there. At the same time Bram painted Camy’s bathroom, one more to go!

After all the painting was done and the homework was made it was time to relax, we did so by playing some miniature golf.

Day 70 – October 1

Our last day off, we had Monday through Wednesday off.
We did not go anywhere like last time when we went to Miami but stayed home this time.

Camy had to do some homework so that is just what we started out doing today.

We had some birthday cake left so we could not resist and had a slice.
Mmm, out on the pool deck we enjoyed the cake and the sun, of course.

Since we had some paint left from the WC downstairs and our bathroom upstairs we decided to paint Camy’s bathroom as well. The ceiling is white now and we did one of the walls as well. The remainder will be painted light blue.

After that we cleaned up the pool deck, nice and neat!
Time to get a tan, oh no the sun was already there….

Day 60 – September 21

Unfortunately we had to get up early this sunday morning, we had told our friends we would meet them at church today, so off to Kissimmee we went.

Worship started at 11.00AM, so here we were, the three of us and some hundred more. Two were even baptized today, good for Camy to see since this is what they talk about at religion at school. Now she was able to see it for herself. Also the band played some live music, lets rock-n-roll while in church!

Worship lasted a little less than an hour so at noon we drove back home. There was plenty to do for us. Camy had to do some homework and we started to paint the bathrooms. We went from salmon pink to light blue.

I also had to do some wood work, I did this outside.

And at the same time we cleaned all the shower doors, there is no time for the cleaners to do this so those things need to be done by ourselves when we are here.

Day 59 – September 20

Oh see here, it is not always what you expect, sun, but it does rain here too. It would not be fair to everybody not living in Florida. Once in a while we get days like this and today was one of them….

The pool almost floods it has water until the very top.

So what do we do on days like those…. sit inside and enjoy.
We did so until like 2.00PM, that is when we got out of the house.
We went to the Loop, a shopping area in Kissimmee, build not too long ago.

On the way home we stopped at Home Depot to get a lick of paint so we can get started. Tomorrow we want to start doing up the bathrooms, white with a little color…..
